Johor Bahru Chinese Heritage Museum

  • The Johor Bahru Chinese Heritage Museum is situated within a meticulously restored four-story shop lot, originally owned by the esteemed merchant Quok Keng Kang. During the Japanese Occupation in 1942, the building was repurposed as the Chinese General Association before being renamed the Johor Bahru Tiong-Hua Association (JBTHA) in 1948. In 1966, it underwent renovations and was officially inaugurated by the late Sultan Ismail. This historic building was ultimately transformed into a heritage museum in 2009, preserving and showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Johor Bahru.

Sultan Ibrahim Building

  • One of the most famous landmarks in Putrajaya, this mosque is distinguished by its magnificent pink dome. It is constructed with rose-tinted granite and inspired by some of the world’s most famous mosques. The basement wall resembles the King Hassan Mosque in Casablanca, Morocco, while the minaret is designed after the Sheikh Omar Mosque in Baghdad. Visitors are advised to dress appropriately when visiting the mosque. Women will be required to wear headscarves.
